December 26, 2017

On Wednesday, December 27, 2017, uptowns council member Ydanis Rodriquez, elected Officials, Business Owners, Community Leaders, among others are calling for all New Yorkers to help save the life of Andy Manuel Herrera Reyes, who is seeking a life-saving heart transplant.

This is an unfinished story that you can help us turn into a successful journey for a 13 year old Dominican boy. Andy is currently receiving treatment for a rare heart condition he was born with. He has already had 4 heart surgeries, the most recent on September 14th of this year.

Andy’s family needs support in order to take him from the Cayman Island Hospital to the UF Congenital Heart Center in Gainesville, Florida in order to perform the lifesaving surgery. This hospital has accepted Andy as a transplant patient. Now his family is seeking donations for Andy’s transport to UF as well as his surgical and medical expenses which are expected to exceed 1.5 million dollars.

Please Donate Now & help us write a happy ending to Andy’s difficult journey of life.
