On Monday, December 5th at 10:30am, uptown NYC Council Transportation Chair Ydanis Rodriguez will call on President-Elect Donald Trump to move his transition headquarters out of New York City to ease traffic congestion in midtown Manhattan.
With heavy security and barricades blocking foot, cycling and car traffic near Trump Tower, the unofficial home of the Trump transition, movement in midtown has grown increasingly slower, a major concern for New Yorkers and local small businesses.
Chair Rodriguez will encourage the president-elect to be a good New Yorker and conduct his business outside of the city to free up movement and commerce.
