Columbia-Harlem Small Business Development Center is pleased to continue to offer many virtual learning opportunities.

The following are the scheduled SBDC workshops for January 2022:

Starting Your Lean Business: Launch Your Business Quickly and Profitably:

Participants in this workshop will get an introduction to the same innovative entrepreneurship principles currently taught to Columbia MBA students.

Building a lean business means that you start and grow the enterprise concurrently while developing a scalable business model, instead of spending months writing a theoretical plan, on January 12, 2022, at 6 pm. Register here.

Lunch & Learn: Understanding Financial Statements: Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Setting up your Financial Dashboard for Decision Making, on January 22, 2022, at 11am. Register here.

Small Business Finance 102: Business Credit & Getting Finance Ready.


Participants will assess appropriate loan amounts, create a financing structure, decide on investors, and collateralize.
