Police have released a photo of three men connected to a fatal December 14th, 2016 shooting in Harlem in which a resident of Washington Heights was killed.
The three men (pictured above) were seen walking with Raheem McWhite, 32, before he was shot and killed on Lenox Avenue between West 127th and 128th streets, police told Patch. The photo was taken immediately after the shooting, police said. The men in the photo — who police are trying to identify — walked down Lenox Avenue and then turned onto West 128 Street after the shooting, NYPD stated.
McWhite, a resident of West 157th Street, was discovered around 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 14 outside a restaurant on Lenox Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach, police said. McWhite was transported to Harlem Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577. All tips are confidential.
