On Saturday, December 9, 2023, 2 – 4 pm EST you can learn about the Puerto Rican holiday caroling tradition of parrandas and the plena rhythm that guides its storytelling tradition.
BombaYo, who will lead us in the Puerto Rican holiday caroling tradition of parrandas.
Beginning at El Museo, you will learn about the origins of parrandas, and the plena rhythm that guides its storytelling tradition.
Shortly after, we will welcome everyone to join us as we take the celebration onto the street and into the community!
All ages are welcome!
Dress appropriately for an outdoor experience.
