The Cathedral of St. John the Divine will present its annual Cathedral Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 7 PM at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Harlem, NY. The Cathedral Choirs will join forces under the leadership of Kent Tritle, Director of Cathedral Music and one of America’s leading choral conductors, and Bryan Zaros, Associate Choirmaster. This signature event is one of many comprising the 2018–2019 season of Great Music in a Great Space.

This year the Christmas concert, a beloved holiday tradition, features Giovanni Gabrieli’s magnum opus In ecclesiis along with his beautiful setting of O magnum mysterium. The combined Cathedral Choirs and Orchestra also perform Daniel Pinkham’s incredible Christmas Cantata. The whole audience is warmly invited to join in singing favorite Christmas carols, led by the choirs and orchestra under the direction of Kent Tritle and Bryan Zaros.
