April 4, 2017

CCCADI invites you to the 2nd Annual Spring Gala Reception on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Loeb Central Park Boathouse.

Join us celebrate our 40th Anniversary, the Grand Opening of our new home, and the spirit of activism through honoring The New York Women’s Foundation;
Susan L. Taylor, Opal Tometi, and Ben Rodriguez-Cubeñas, for their work in arts, culture, and social justice. Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito will receive the Firehouse Legacy Award for her tireless work in local activism, nonprofit organizations and labor for over a decade; her trailblazing role in government for Latinos and women; and her staunch support of CCCADI.

Come prepared for a carnival-themed evening of dinner, open bar, and live performances from Afro-Brazilian music and dance ensemble, Dendê & Band, and Harlem’s very own
Dj Stormin Norman of Sundae Sermon Music Festival!
