We all need a weekend getaway every once in a while to recharge and gain relaxation within ourselves. After spending an important holiday with our loved ones, now it’s the time to sit back, relax and enjoy a weekend with that special someone.

While researching online I came across a resort called Cove Haven. Cove Haven is known “as an intimate couple’s resort where the perfect vacation is always yours to be had’. A personal friend of mine told me “ this is an ideal get away, you’ll fall in love all over again”. The resort offers something for everyone from live concerts to paddling and sight-seeing.
Rooms/Prices: The prices vary depending on the room you choose. You can spend a weekend at Cove Haven for an estimated amount of $800.00-$1,300.00; with everything included except gas. Some of the rooms have their own in room heart-shaped personal pool and a personal message table and a sauna depending on the room you choose. What to pack:
Having the right luggage for your trip makes it a comfortable and relaxing one. Bring a comfortable duffel bag that can hold enough clothes for your stay. For a three-day weekend it’s ideal to have fun packing. Pack your bathing suit, custom jewelry, dress, a pair of heels, a pair of sandals, tank tops, shorts, and your make up bag and other miscellaneous products. And ladies don’t forget your intimate lingerie. (wink, wink)!
What to do each day:
Friday: On your way driving up the Cove Haven; approximately a two hour journey, you can stop on the road and grab snacks along the way. Upon arriving early noon, enjoy a walk around the resort, venture your room and get something to eat at Spooner’s café. Checking time is at 1PM. Have lunch at Spooner’s Café (not included in your package; additional cost). Enjoy your evening at Parrot Lounge hang out at TanLines Bar and Grille. Enjoy your evening mingling, dinning, and drinks surrounded with other couples.
Saturday: On your second day, walk over to Coliseum Restaurant, their menu include: pancakes, eggs Benedict and fruit salad. Enjoy from their wide assortment of desserts. You have a choice of many outdoor activities. Enjoy outside sports such as: watersking and speed boating, and even paddle boating. You can also bring out your nature side and go deer feeding and/ or horse back riding. For afternoon/ evening hang out at Cupid’s Corner Bar, enjoy from their daily cocktails and appetizers.
Sunday: Your last day at this magical place. After having such a great evening both Friday and Saturday today you can relax and get up late, walk over to Lookout Lounge Bar you can sip cocktails and have breakfast while taking in the lovely surroundings of Lake Wallenpaupack, enjoy COVE HAVEN’s Wellness Massage and Therapy services; the best part of this you’re in the comfort of your own room. This is your “me time”, your moment for self meditating and relaxation. Enjoy brunch at Lookout Lounge Bar after get ready to repack your bags and hit the road back home.
