Christmas Eve at the National Action Network headquarters of 145th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard in Harlem, NY.
The major politicians of New York City were present, to name a few, senator Cordell Cleared, NY state senator. Gillibrand, Manhattan DA Alvin Polite, assemblyman Al Taylor and congressman, Adriano Espaillat gave thanks and prayers in assisting the Rev. Al Sharpton in feeding the people hot meals, which consisted of turkey, chicken, candy sweets, cheese and Mac, string beans ham, and many other items.
Also, toys were given out to the children of the community.
Everybody was very happy despite it being one of the coldest days of the year.
People still came out and was supported.
Ms. Malaak Shabazz one of the daughters of the late Malcolm X arrives and assisted in giving out toys to the children.
