August 6, 2024

Harlem photojournalist Seitu Oronde was at the HCCI 20th Anniversary Jamboree Dinner Cruise this year it took place on Thursday, August 1st, 2024.

Every other year, Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement (HCCI) hosts Jamboree!, a boat ride on the Hudson, aboard a luxury yacht on the Hudson River at the West Harlem Pier, West 125th Street and Marginal Street in Harlem, New York.

Jamboree hosts hundreds of guests and features a special performance by celebrated signers, and boasts live disc jockeys, along with an all-you-can-eat buffet and a magnificent cruise along the Hudson River.

“Each Jamboree is better than the last,” exclaimed HCCI Board Chairman, Rev. Dr. Keith Robeson “Unlike our annual gala, the Jamboree is priced so that our residents can afford to participate.”
