On Saturday, August 20, 2022, Harlem photo essayist Seitu Oronde was at the Harlem Week Celebration for its Children Festival with activities in the children’s playing ground on 135th Street near 5th Avenue in Harlem, New York.
The children want the return of their basketball player, Brittney Griner, Star W.N.B.A. Center, who Is Detained in Russia. Don Thomas, was the host of the children’s festival.
There was face painting back to school book bag giveaways, popcorn giveaways, playground games, and other activities.
