Despite the snow falling Wednesday January 26th, folks trooped to the West Village Tracy Reese Flagship Store to support Shop for a Cause.Proceeds from stored items purchased will go to Akyson: A Vision Forward for Haiti. This exclusive evening was hosted by Fashion Designer, Tracy Reese, JRT Multimedia, CEO Jocelyn Taylor and BACARDI USA.Hors d’oeuvres and drinks were passed around while the sounds of Bryan Abreu & Friends Jazz Trio filled the store. This beautiful setup was perfect for highlighting art and fashion from local emerging Haitian artisans and designers.
During the event, Jocelyn Taylor, Tracy Reese and Reggie Canal took a moment to remind everyone that they fought the storm to support Haiti.Tracy shared how important it is that we do not forget about Haiti and the people who are still suffering a year later after the devastating earthquake.
