As part of the “Buy Black Weekend” on December 21st, the New York Black Expo provided African American, Caribbean American and African businesses and organizations ways to connect with consumers during the holiday season.
New York Black Expo Inc. President & CEO Mark Anthony Jenkins and his team organized a wonderful day of activities for the whole family to enjoy at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
Various vendors provided everything from cupcakes to massages. Designers Ray Vincente and Louis Narcisse showcased their designs with a fashion show towards the later part of the day. After crowd had a taste of fashion, it was time for some good old R&B music from The Delonics revue. With original Delfonics member Greg Hill, Ben Daniels and Tommy Moore The Delonics Review put on a great show.
There was more muisc by UNITED FUNK ORDER earlier in the day, comedy by Sherwin XL and author Flo Anthony greeted attendees with a smile and conversation about her novel Deadly Stuff Players.
