On Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady of New York hosted a celebration of a Black History Month Harlem celebration at the Museum of Natural History, Central Park West and 79th Street, New York, NY.
Hors D’Oeuvres, cocktails and Old School music set the tone for a great evening. Mayor Dinkins was graciously taking photos with everyone who asked, Jackie Rowe Adams was covered in fur, electeds enjoyed themselves and the crowd waited for the First Couple to arrive.
The First Lady opened for Mayor, who gave a rousing speech on the contributions of African Americans to this Country and the world in such an incredible space.
