November 29, 2017

New York Yimby reports that permits have been filed for an 11-story mid-rise residential building at 123 West 106th Street, on the Upper West Side of Harlem, NY. The project is situated three blocks from Central Park, and seven blocks from the famously massive yet unfinished Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine. The 1 train and the A, B, and C trains are all a few blocks away. CoSo Apartments will be responsible for the development.

The 115-foot tall structure will yield 35,930 square feet of space, all dedicated to residential use. 48 apartments will be created. Units will average 749 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have access to an exercise room, laundry, and lounge in the cellar. Lobby and bicycle storage will be situated on the first floor.

Minervini Vandermark Architecture will be responsible for the design.

The site is currently occupied by a six-story structure. Demolition permits have not been filed, and an estimated completion date has not been announced.
