The Rent Guidelines Board (RGB) has proposed a 1-year increase of .75 to 2.75 percent, and a 2-year increase of 1.75 to 3.75 percent, for rent stabilized leases across NYC. The public can testify regarding these proposed increases on Thursday, May 24, 2018, beginning at 9:30am, at the David Dinkins Municipal Building / 1 Centre Street, in the 9th floor conference room. This location is wheelchair accessible.
I unequivocally oppose any increase to rent stabilized leases this year. There will be additional evening public meetings on June 19th at Cooper Union, and on June 21st at the Oberia D. Dempsey Multi Service Center – Auditorium on West 127th Street. Click here for more information. Your testimony is important. The RGB’s final vote will be on June 26th, 2018.
