Join the Friends of Harlem Hospital Center for the Golf and Tennis Outing to Benefit of Harlem only hospital the Harlem Center in Harlem, New York.Join them on August 11th, 2014 and give back to the village that keeps giving.
The event will take place at Elmwood CC after a Golf & Tennis Outing sponsored by the Friends of Harlem Hospital Center (FOHHC), a non-profit affiliated organization formed to upgrade hospital technology and to improve patient care.
Their goal is in three-year campaign to raise $1,000,000 to assist the hospital in building a new floor for in-patient care and to replace badly outdated systems and machinery. The hospital is Harlem’s largest employer and health care provider serving north central Manhattan for over 125 years. In a community with a median family income below $25,000 and with a disproportionate number of uninsured individuals, the hospital desperately needs financial assistance. This event will attract many of Harlem’s business leaders, doctors, politicians & celebrities and the Journal will be seen by nearly everyone within the community.
Show your Harlem spirit in this mission by taking part in this great day and/or to be as generous as possible with your financial support. It is also an opportunity for anyone who has made money in Harlem to give back to the community by supporting its only hospital.
