Harlem is one of the oldest arts communities in the world, so when VH1 sent us this article about the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation x Gibson Foundation partnership as part of VH1 STM’s 20th Anniversary campaign – we loved it. The exhibit at Viacom will be open to the public throughout the month of June.
Each custom guitar from the project will be showcased in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville in the next five months until they are auctioned through Julien’s Auctions in October, with proceeds benefitting music education. Participants include musicians Chris Stapleton, Rick Nielsen, Joe Perry, Miley Cyrus, Gary Clark Jr., Wayne Kramer, Juanes, and visual artists D*Face, Dabs Myla, ThankYouX, Lola Blu, Hudson Marquez and Sage Vaughn, to name a few.
Editor’s Note: We cant wait when Vh1 Save The Music Foundation x Gibson Foundation partnership bring the partnership uptown to Harlem.
