A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit while crossing a Harlem street Wednesday evening.
The unidentified pedestrian was walking in the intersection of Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 142nd Street when they were hit by a car, an FDNY spokesman told Patch. The collision occurred around 5:20 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
The pedestrian was taken to Harlem Hospital suffering serious injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.
The spokesman did not confirm whether the driver stayed at the scene of the collision.
