One person has been killed and four others have been injured after an accident between a cab and a truck ended up with the truck jumping a curb on East 102nd street in Manhattan.
The accident happened at the intersection of 102nd Street and Park Avenue around 1:00 p.m.
The truck went onto the sidewalk and struck a 65-year-old woman, identified as Olga Rivera who was pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.
Many witnessess said the husband was walking with the woman screaming that it was her birthday and begging her not to die.
Two passengers in the cab are listed in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.
A third person, possibly the driver of the cab is also listed in critical condition.
