Tomorrow, members of the NYPD’s 26th, 28th and 32nd precincts will join hundreds of Harlem residents, children and community leaders to kick off “Play Street,” a community wide event aimed to put an end to gun violence. The event, taking place at 128th Street b/w Frederick Douglas Boulevard and St. Nicholas Avenue, will be hosted by Harlem Mothers S.A.V.E (Stop Another Violent Ending), and will feature games, education activities, sports and community resources.
