A man who tried to shove his hands down a woman’s pants on a Harlem street has been arrested, police told Patch.
32, will face charges of sex abuse and forcible touching, police told sources. On Friday, July 21, 2017, Washington approached a 21-year-old woman on Hancock Place near Morningside Avenue and West 124th Street and attempted to grope her underneath her clothing, police said. The attempted sexual assault occurred at 6 a.m. just blocks away from Morningside Park.
The woman was able to fight Washington off of her and did not suffer physical injuries, police said.
