Mr. Pryor started his 20-year career at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corp.’s in Brooklyn, and served as president of the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Since 2012, Mr. Pryor had held the position of executive director of the Center for Arts Education. During his time at the center, he prompted Mayor Bill de Blasio’s office to invest $92 million in expanding arts education citywide – he tells us his plans for the HSA.
