HW Pick: Ne-Yo, Toni Braxton And Others Perform At GRAMMY Park Music Festival

grammy park montage1Spring music festivals is in full gear, the Recording Academy, in partnership with Upsilon Ventures, is hosting GRAMMY Park,the first GRAMMY-branded, multiday live music experience. There will be exciting performances by NE-YO, Aloe Blacc, Toni Braxton, Christian McBride Trio, Andra Day and Dianne Reeves – all GRAMMY winners and nominees.

From May 5-8, 2016 GRAMMY Park will offer 10 live concert performances, featuring more than 30 artists, who have been collectively honored with 40-plus GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY Awards®. These artists will converge in Brooklyn to celebrate the rich musical diversity of various genres, including R&B, hip-hop, gospel, pop, Latin, and jazz.

Thursday, May 5th

  • Ne-Yo with Jazmine Sullivan – Kings Theatre, 8PM

Friday, May 6th

  • Latin Mix with Natalia Lafourcade, Alex Cuba, Arturo O’Farrill & Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra – Kings Theatre, 7PM

Saturday, May 7th

  • The Next Generation: Emerging Artists (Jazz) – Lakeside at Prospect Park, 10AM (Free)
  • Jazz All Stars with The Commodores, Christina McBride Trio, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Kurt Elling, Monty Alexander-Harlem Kingston Express – Lakeside at Prospect Park, 2PM
  • Robin Thicke & Aloe Blacc – Kings Theatre, 8PM

Sunday, May 8th


  • Gospel Concert with BeBe Winans, Hezekiah Walker and Ray Chew – Lakeside at Prospect Park, 12PM (Free)
  • Big Band & Broadway Remix with Christian McBride Big Band, Jonathan Butler, Andra Day, Dianne Reeves – Lakeside at Prospect Park, 7PM
  • Toni Braxton – Kings Theatre, 7PM
