National Jazz Museum In Harlem’s 2017 Annual Benefit Concert (Photographs)

The event on On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, honoring NEA Jazz Master Randy Weston, attorney Arthur H. Barnes and the celebrated jazz presenter Jazzmobile was hosted by WBGO’s Rhonda Hamilton and The National Jazz Museum in Harlem.

In addition the event featured performances by GRAMMY-winning vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant (performing duo with pianist Aaron Diehl), and a solo piano performance by three-time GRAMMY-nominated piano phenom, Joey Alexander.

Additional special guests included: Charles Rangel, George Wein, Robert and Helen Appel, Dean Schomburg, Randy Weston, Arthur H. BarnesRobin Bell-Stevens, Rhonda HamiltonCecile McLorin Salvant,  Aaron Diehl, Joey  Alexander, George WeinHenry Arnhold, Gideon Rothschild and many more.
