Patch reports that the NYPD is trying to identify a man who swiped clothes, equipment and cash from a Harlem gym, police said.
The suspect entered Blink Fitness on West 125th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard on the night of Nov. 12 through an unsecured front door, police said. The gym had closed for the night, so the man was free to roam about the business in search of loot, police said.
The man stole clothing, duffel bags, a web cam, ear phones and $100 in cash before fleeing the location, police said. The NYPD released security camera footage of the thief Monday (seen above).
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
