HW Pick: GRAMMY® Award-Nominated Mack Wilds Performs At SOB’s

mack-wilds-booking-infoHip-Hop/R&B and GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist Mack Wilds gives Harlem World Magazine a shout out, he has earned recognition on television and in movies alike such as HBO’s “The Wire,” CW’s “90210,” … The Secret Life of Beesand “Red Tails.” Wilds’ debut album, New York: A Love Story was released on September 30, 2013 and has been nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album for the 56th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. The album was released via Re Mi Fa/Louder Than Life imprint label, through Sony Music.

Mack Wilds will perform his first solo concert at SOB’s in New York City on December 23, 2013. Mack is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for a “Text To Donate” campaign in an effort to support childhood cancer treatment. The hospital has played a pivotal role in pushing U.S. pediatric cancer survival rates from 20 to 80 percent overall, and is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted to children. A portion of the concert proceeds will also benefit the hospital.
