Diddy Dream Mack Wilds On “Good Morning America”

mack-wilds-booking-info1GRAMMY® nominated R&B/Hip Hop artist Mack Wilds will be making his national morning television show debut on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” performing his hit single “Own It” on March 19. Mack is featured in the Sean John Spring “Dream Big” ad campaign, which spotlights men who have made their dreams a reality. The campaign also includes Rob Beitzel, Chef Roble Ali, Pheo and Cashius Green. “We worked with the next generation of dream makers; men of creativity, vision, and drive…men who can follow in the footsteps of a visionary like Mr. Combs,” says Jeff Tweedy, president of Sean John. The collection is currently available at Macy’s stores nationwide.

Released late last year, Mack Wilds’ critically acclaimed debut album New York: A Love Story continues to generate buzz. “Own It” proved to be a hit with radio play across the country, earning him a spot on Billboard’s Most Added Airplay Charts for several weeks in a row.

His new single “Henny,” is currently available on iTunes. With lyrics written by Mack Wilds, the track was produced by SalaAM ReMi and rapper/producer Havoc, and also includes a sample from Mobb Deep’s hit song “The Learning (Burn).” Mack is currently filming a remix video of the song, which will feature Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep and French Montana, due to be released early April 2014.

Hot off the heels of the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX, Mack performed at several events including; BET Music Matters Showcase, Sony Electronics Music Unlimited, SalaAM ReMi’s Louder Than Life Showcase and Vibe at the House of Vans. He is ready to hit the stage again embarking on an 8-city tour, with more dates to be added, which includes concerts at Haze Nightclub in Las Vegas on March 20, Howard Theater in Washington, DC on March 30, and at the Highline Ballroom in New York City in April 2. Mack Wilds’ debut album New York: A Love Story, features songs arranged by hit-making producers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Havoc and GRAMMY® nominated producer SalaAM ReMi. Mack has been featured in various media outlets including Wall Street Journal, Vibe, The Source, Uptown, JET, Hip Hop Weekly, among others. He also made his national daytime television debut performance on The Wendy Williams Show and has appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show, BET’s 106 & Park, MTV, Music Choice and Fuse.
