Join The Dominican Day Parade 2018 Uptown

Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer, Deputy Borough President Aldrin R. Bonilla, and the Dominican Day Parade Committee will host a Dominican Heritage Celebration reception at Washington Heights’ iconic United Palace Theater. The event will be cosponsored by U.S. Rep. Adriano Espaillat, State Senator Marisol Alcantara, State Assemblymember Carmen de la Rosa, and Councilmember Ydanis Rodriguez.

The event will feature a performance by Dominican carnaval dance troupe Los Andulleros de Santiago USA. Leaders of the Dominican Day Parade will also honor New York City Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza and student Jose Ramon Martinez.
