Iyanla Fix My Life, Iyanla Vanzant Helps Heal Formerly Incarcerated Women #2 (Video)

September 19, 2018

From Harlem to Hollywood, we look for the best ways to live our best life, Iyanla, Fix My Life tries to do that. What happens when Matilda is forced to face charges in the court of life?

Admitting she thought she was going to get away with everything, both her prison daughters and biological daughters take the stand to testify, and “judge Iyanla” delivers her verdict.

Here’s a teaser of two daughters who share their pain with their mom’s:

When Matilda, a mother of 12, went to prison for refusing to testify against her sons who were selling drugs, the two youngest children she left behind were Keashia and Nicole. To fill the void, Matilda became a “prison mom” to two other younger inmates, Brandi and Taii. But when Matilda’s four “daughters” come face-to-face, Keashia and Nicole reveal how they struggled without their mother in their lives, which, Iyanla points out, is exactly how Brandi and Taii’s own children could feel if the two women don’t get on the path to healing.
