Jermaine Jackson, the globally recognized musician, producer, composer and member of the Jackson 5, will be at Fairway Market in Red Hook, Brooklyn (480-500 Van Brunt Street) on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at 3 pm in support of Vita Water efforts to end the world’s water crisis. For every 31 bottles of this unadulterated spring water sold, one person is provided with clean water for 20 years by building wells in communities around the world where they are needed most. To date, 14 Vita Water wells have been built providing water for more than 14,000 people. The founder of the company, Shakira Niazi grew up in Afghanistan and earned her MBA in the United States. She will be with Jackson at the Red Hook Fairway, where he will talk to fans about the company’s mission and sign autographs.
