It’s Back! The Uptown Night Market Is Back Celebrating Micro-Businesses And Artisanal Creators In Harlem And The Bronx

MASC Hospitality Group is proud to announce the return of Harlem’s most celebrated Uptown Night Market. The large-scale open-air market scene with its mission to support micro-businesses and artisanal creators will be amplifying its festival by adding local and namesake performances.

It will also add exciting new food & merchant vendors, a themed visual art element, and an up-and-comers entrepreneurial incubator.

The monthly series event returns to under the Arches of Harlem on Thursday, April 14th, from 4 PM to 10 PM.

For Marco Shalma, the founder of MASC Hospitality Group, creating Uptown Night Market in said location has been a natural progression of the conscious way the company does business within the Uptown and The Bronx communities. “I build MASC to focus on creating experiences and brands that truly reflected our diverse community, and to support diverse micro-businesses in their growth,” said Shalma, “plus, We have a lot of fun at our events and it’s truly a community-building experience that is becoming a summer tradition in Harlem!”

When patronizing the Uptown Night Market, New Yorkers will enjoy tons of international cuisines and food concepts from the likes of Downeast Lobstah, Tacos El Guero, HangryDog, Treat Yourself Jerk, Mama Silog, Arepa Baby, and The Bronx Burger Company, Booze Scoops (21+), Twister Cakes, Butta’s Bakery, Sam’s Fried Ice Cream, and Maryland Chicken to name just a few.

To complement the wealth of established food vendors, Uptown Night Market welcomes its artisanal creators as well as arts & crafts such as Eastside Creations, Akijo Designs, Dejha B Coloring, ForTheCultureNY LLC, Harlem Hoopz, Moon Sage & Soul, Ariance Jewelry, and Everything Brand LLC selling products ranging from apparel, merchandise, unique hand-made jewelry, and more.

As part of celebrating everything Harlem, MASC Hospitality Group welcomes City Love NYC to the stage, an organization dedicated to fostering the creative spirit in Manhattan. Harlem Late Night Jazz will curate rotating performances celebrating Harlem’s jazz and blues history with R&B classics.


Clean Money Music, a group of talented musicians, will curate a lineup of up-and-coming rappers using clean lyrics only performing rap music to its original hip-hop roots.

The amazing DJ Cosi will dial up the BPM turning the venue into a giant dance floor with his eclectic set.

Performances will take place on the main stage from opening to closing, along with special performances from local artists throughout each month.

The event series produced in partnership with West Harlem Development Corporation is bringing the neighborhood together under the Arches of Harlem to celebrate cuisine, community, and culture along with creative artists, it would not be complete without some of the local partnerships.
