Join The New Make Music New York Community Engagement Committee Program

Interested in a new way to get involved with Make Music New York? Want learn the inner workings of planning a music event in New York City?

Need resume building arts administration skills? If so, please join their Community Engagement Committee program!

They are looking for members of NYC’s music making community to spread the word about Make Music New York while picking up some arts administrative skills as a Make Music New York Ambassador. Through our program, you can embrace the title of Mobilizer or Maven.

Their Mobilizers are guerrilla street team members who spread the word to venues and performers, are enthusiastic about social media networking and phone banking follow ups with current performers, venues and those involved in years past.

Their Mavens are neighborhood organizers who understand the current music scene in their community. They want to coordinate venues and recruit artists to create special events and projects that will be established in the Make Music New York musical canon.
