On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Inner-City Scholarship Fund hosted a celebration for 54 Catholic high school students who have been supported through scholarships from Harlem to Hollis.
The event took place at 5:30 PM in Dillon Hall, located at 1011 First Avenue, 20th Floor, New York, NY. The celebration was attended by 38 sponsors of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund.
Among the honored students was Avery Cox, a senior at All Hallows High School. Avery, a scholarship recipient since the first grade, has distinguished himself as student body president and a vital member of his school community. This fall, he will attend Fordham University on a full scholarship to study Finance, with aspirations of becoming an accountant. Avery’s education has been generously supported by Jim Naughton and Laura Richards. Jim, an Inner-City trustee since 2018, and Laura are currently sponsoring 67 students and have supported over 600 students throughout their commitment to the Fund.
The Inner-City Scholarship Fund is dedicated to transforming lives by providing families in financial need the opportunity to give their children a quality, values-based K-12 Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York.
