Just a block away from the Harlem River by 150th Street, developers have now planned a seven-story building that will bring 103 condos to the neighborhood, The Real Deal reports. Located at 2600 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, the project is being developed by Truss Development with architecture by Lin & Associates, according to plans filed with the city’s Department of Buildings.
The apartments here will average about 775 square feet and there are also plans for 14,117 square foot health care facility on the ground floor, according to YIMBY. The only amenities announced so far include a 51-car garage, a backyard, and some recreation spaces on the first three floors of the building.
The project came about after Truss’s purchase of the property, which was last used as a parking lot, in April this year for $16 million. While the announcement of condos has been on the rise in Harlem and Upper Manhattan of late, it’s rare to see the announcement of a project, especially on this scale, so up north. The condo building is expected to be complete sometime in 2019.
