Hope For Harlem: A Community Celebration At First Corinthian Baptist Church

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, First Corinthian Baptist Church and District Council 9 will host their fifth annual Hope for Harlem block party and community service event.

This event will feature the donation of thousands of groceries, hygiene products, and back-to-school supplies.

Additionally, attendees can access employment opportunities and health resources, all aimed at uplifting the local community.

The event is aiming to provide resources to at least 3,000 residents.

A Holistic Approach to Community Service

The Hope for Harlem initiative adopts a holistic approach to community service, addressing the mind, body, and soul of Harlem’s residents.

Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, this annual event has become a cornerstone for the neighborhood, demonstrating the enduring strength and unity of the community.

Join First Corinthian Baptist Church, District Council 9, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, and New York State Senator Cordell Cleare on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at 116th Street between 7th & St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem, USA.
