High Heat & Air Quality Advisory From Harlem To Hollis

VictorPillet_victorpilletThe National Weather Service has extended the Heat advisory for Harlem and NYC until Saturday, July 16,  at 7:00 PM. High heat indices are expected and are dangerous to health, avoid strenuous activity. People without air conditioning, older adults, and people with chronic health conditions are most at risk. Cooling centers will be open again tomorrow, 7/16.  In addition, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for New York City today until 11:00 PM. Active children, adults, and people with lung disease such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
