A visually appealing original antique wood-engraved print. It is an original 130 year old pictorial sheet extracted from a scarce 19th century illustrated popular weekly periodical. There is text/ possibly other images on the back because it was extracted from an illustrated periodical from the 19th century. The visual presentation is unique to the era and this type of printed popular newsprint image which is no longer being produced.
The type of wood-pulp paper used by the periodical in this era is now somewhat delicate and needs to be handled a bit carefully.
