Join the Wendy Hilliard Gymnastics Foundation (WHGF)’s 20th Anniversary Gala as they honor Anne Williams-Isom, CEO of Harlem’s Children Zone and others on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 at 6:00pm.
The WHGF is a not-for-profit organization that provides free and low-cost quality gymnastics for urban youth.The event is in celebrating their 20th anniversary of successful programming and community engagement in Harlem. Over the past two decades, the WHGF has served more than 17,000 local youth, developing elite athletes and international gymnastic performers in the process. Founder Wendy Hilliard, Hall of Fame rhythmic gymnast and the first African-American to represent the U.S. in international competition, also recently expanded the foundation, beginning programs in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan.
