During the Great Migration era, when cameras were far from everyday objects, ten-year-old Mildred Harris captured her family’s trajectory on film. These snapshots and archives from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s chronicle Harlem’s social history. Some of these vintage images are on display along with a few of Ms. Jackson’s paintings.
