It’s been nearly three years since Whole Foods announced that it would land on 125th Street in Harlem, and even longer that the site’s been nothing but a hole in the ground. The building to contain the pricey grocer has risen from construction purgatory and appears to be making progress. The building’s basement is built out, and construction appears to be reaching ground level. Despite the delayed timeline since it broke ground last year, things appear to be moving on schedule by the company, which announced a long time ago that it would open its doors at 100 West 125th Street in 2015 (source).
