Mark your calendars because the highly anticipated 6th annual “URBAN ONE HONORS” is back! Premiering on TV One and CLEO TV.
The event takes Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 8/7C, this star-studded event is set to honor outstanding individuals whose contributions have left an indelible mark on the arts, media, music, and the community.
This year’s distinguished recipients include some of the biggest names in entertainment. Mary J. Blige will be named the Entertainment Icon Honoree, while Dionne Warwick will be recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Honoree award.
Chlöe will be celebrated as the Generation Next Honoree, Frankie Beverly will be honored as a Living Legend, and Donald Lawrence will be acclaimed for his Inspirational Impact.
Adding to the excitement, Teyana Taylor, Bebe Winans, Damon Little, Angie Stone, October London, and a reunion featuring KeKe Wyatt, Chanté Moore, and Nicci Gilbert (cast of R&B Divas) will grace the stage as performers and presenters.
Grammy Award-winning singer and actress LeToya Luckett will return to host the event’s “Backstage Pass,” offering exclusive interviews with the show’s honorees, performers, and presenters.
The festivities will continue with an encore presentation of “URBAN ONE HONORS: Best in Black” at 10p/9c, followed by a re-airing on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 9p/8c.
Produced for TV One by James Seppelfrick of The Cheat Code, with Marilyn Gill serving as Executive Producer, Myriam Leger as Director, and Daniel Moore as Music Director, “URBAN ONE HONORS” promises to be the ultimate celebration of Black Excellence.
