Today, Harlem Representative Adriano Espaillat joined C-SPAN’s Washington Journal to discuss the ongoing hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico. Rep. Espaillat has visited Puerto Rico twice since Hurricane Maria to assess the damage and destruction following the storm. Rep. Espaillat is a leading voice in Congress in his calls for immediate federal relief to aid in the rebuilding of Puerto Rico, and he has declared Puerto Rico our Caribbean Katrina.
