To top off the event Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka hit the red carpet with Neil in classic tuxedo and hubby David in a plaid patterned tuxedo. 

Let’s us not end withhout mentioning that as for performers, one reigned supreme: Audra McDonald made history by winning her sixth prize for acting, the most ever.
