Roc-A-Fella Records founder and Harlemite Damon “Dame” Dash is making a 180-degree turn from his usual social media rhetoric. Over the past month, he has taken to social media to blast former colleague and friend, Jay-Z, along with heated arguments with Hot 97 DJ, Funk Master Flex and record executive, Lyor Cohen, Steve Stoute, and rapper Jim Jones. Now, Dash’s issued a heartfelt apology to his former friends in the industry. Written in the same font as VLAD-TV – the popular expose-style YouTube interview series featuring figures in hip-hop – he’s uploaded videos under the moniker, DDTV.
What caused the change of heart? Maybe, he’s just continuing to grow as a man, and about his feelings.
