The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce in partnership with U.S. Congressmember Adriano Espaillat, West Harlem Development Corporation and The City College of New York presented its 2024 NY City Jobs & Career Fair.

In honor of HARLEM WEEK’s 50th Anniversary, the informative, citywide, community event attracted over 5,000 job seekers who lined up along New York City College campus eager to participate.

Sponsored by Audacy, Enterprise Holdings, NYC Department of Transportation, Northwell Health, Infrastructure Engineering Incorporated, MetroPlus Health Plan, Mount Sinai, NYC Small Business Services, Small Business Administration, National Urban League, AMNY, and The Office of New York County District Attorney Alvin Braggs, the event features over 50 top recruiters, and service providers representing a wealth of companies from both the private, and public sectors.

In addition to recruitment and a wealth of resources, the NY City Job & Career Fair hosted two timely, informative panels. The “Careers in Green Jobs Panel” moderated by Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce Senior Director Baron Carr, provided key insight on the numerous careers and job opportunities that exist in renewable energy, and environmental justice marketplaces. Panelists included representatives from The Charles B. “The Public Safety Panel,” explored various jobs in law enforcement, public and emergency services. Top officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Secret Service, New York Police Department, and Fire Department of New York were in attendance to share exciting inroads and career paths.
