The following video clip is of Senator Adriano Espaillat’s floor speech of the State The Senate on the five day rent law extender (S.5997).
The legislature passes five day extender of rent laws that are retroactive till June 15. The Senate will return to Albany next week to continue working toward passing stronger rent laws that fully protect the over 2 million tenants living in rent regulated housing from Harlem to Hollis.
