The FDNY was on the scene of a large fire at a Citibank on Broadway and West 111th Street on Saturday morning.
The fire started at 5:20 a.m. and by 7:30 had grown into a 4-alarm blaze. Shortly after 9 a.m. the fire went to a 5th alarm and a 6th alarm was sounded around 2 p.m.
There were 198 firefighters on the scene battling the blaze, 1010 WINS reported.
Three firefighters were transported to St. Luke’s for treatment for minor injuries. Four civilians were treated for smoke inhalation on the scene, one was taken to St. Luke’s, WCBS 880 reported.
