NYC Emergency Management has issued a travel advisory for Tuesday, January 29 through Wednesday, January 30, 2019, in anticipation of a wintry mix of snow and rain from Harlem to Hollis.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has forecast a wintry mix of snow and rain that could affect the New York City area Tuesday and Wednesday. As temperatures drop, any liquid on roads may freeze producing spots of black ice.
New Yorkers are advised to take mass transit where possible and exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking, and allow for additional travel time as roads may be slippery.
