Elle magazine reports that Beyoncé is continuing her week of being our president. After pledging $100,000 in scholarship money for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) on Monday, the Coachella headliner is spotlighting a New York City non-profit with a new campaign for her brand Ivy Park.
Figure Skating in Harlem (FSH) is a nonprofit extra-curricular program for young women of color that focuses on academic achievement and athletic discipline through skating. Rather than enlist a bevy of models, Ivy Park debuted its spring 2018 collection with a photo and video shoot with the ladies of FSH. Actress Laverne Cox, choreographer Karen McDonald and models Grace Bol and Souffrant Ralph appeared in Ivy Park’s fall 2017 campaign.
